A Little Freedom To Learn

We're quickly approaching the new year and it feels so appropriate to begin this new year in a new place. It's like we're starting off with a completely new slate.

We've just moved here to Little Freedom Farmstead (self named as we moved to Maine to gain a "Little Freedom"). A little freedom to live, and in the case our kiddos and their education, a little freedom to learn.

So here it is - the sole purpose of this here blog is to journal all we do in this journey and passion to learn and foster their love of learning. I'll be writing weekly, biweekly, and monthly. I've realized that we spend so much time doing and exploring that we barely have the time to keep track and daily records of all the learning going on. It's a constant. We never stop!

So from here on out starting this new year (and a new journey for the entire family), I will write about all our daily learning activities, projects, and trips.

For today? We just got 10 inches or so of snow dumped on us! The kids will get a chance to play in the snow. We'll be indoors baking and crafting and making hot cocoa from scratch. We'll be hanging in front of the warm fire, watch a movie and maybe a documentary and a good book or two.
